I had also asked this question right after I got my new getaway in o6. The problem is that there is no place for a traveller system or pulley farther back. One person said to put a wire under the tramp anchored to the hulls and have the pulley fastened through the hole in the tramp just like the turbo 14 has. After looking at this I think I might work but you may not be able to sheet the jib in very far for close hauled sailing. |

Yes he did but only with the stock jib, the topic was if it was possible to put a larger jib on the getaway. I do like the idea of putting the 16 jib tracks and cars on my getaway to control the slot better. If I was on a bigger lake i would definitely put a chute on my getaway. |
