That is how the manufacturer describes the product.

UV dries plastics in that the oils in the material gasses off. This UV protectant replenishes those oils.

Our factory has tested the products. The cleaner really works well. The "finisher" UV protectant makes hulls really look nice. I have not personally tried it on an old trampoline... I don't have one, but the McNett guys say vinyl actually absorbs the UV protectant. As an example, they take a dried bit of vinyl and soak it in the protectant. The vinyl actually gets thicker due to the absorbtion of the protectant. This works mMUCH better than Armour All and 303. Those products simply coat the material you apply them to. I will be watching for reviews from the field.

I asked my dealer to put a bottle of the protectant in with my traveller kit which they mailed up to me. I have yet to try it on my Wave, but tried it on the step pads on my pickup (a polyethelene-like material). I applied a small patch on one side, 303 on the opposite. Upon application, both patches looked about the same. Shortly after a rain shower rolled thru. I noted that 303 side was not beading, and looked like it was washing off. Meanwhile, the UV Tech side was beading nicely. It still looks much better, several days later. I cannot even tell where I applied the 303, but the UV Tech treated area looks great.
My initial impression: it appears it may hold up better than 303.
