Just letting everyone know I finally purchased the 2004 Hobie wave and wanted to thank everyone for their helpful advice. The wave did not come with a trailer but my friend saw a trailer in the classifieds that used too hold a Hobie 17. It just happened to be on the way and the guy that sold the trailer to me came with me to look the boat over one last time before I handed over the money(very nice and helpful person). Took it for a test sail and it was very easy to handle. The guy that sold the trailer has a Hobie 18 and was shocked how easy everything was on the wave. After one test sail I feel comfortable going out on my own(should be going out tomorrow). mike |

Congrats!! I've always heard the saying: "The best days for a boat owner is the day he buys his boat and the day he sells it." Who ever originated that sayig obviously never owned a Hobie WAVE. I have had so much fun that I keep thinking it must be illegal. And after the purchase price...it's all been FREEEEEEEE God, I love this boat! |
