We're having an IWCA event near Kansas City in late April at the Frayed Knot regatta. This is an IWCA/HCA event on Lake Clinton 66047, just off I-70. Contact me for information: John Eaton 785-748-0881 This one is called the Great Plains Wave Championship This is going to be a Big Deal, so beg, borrow or .......borrow, a Wave . |

I'd love to join in. What are the exact dates? I'll note it on my calendar, but it's a little too far out for me to commit yet. I need to see how my other schedules fill in. It looks like St Louis would be about the half-way mark for me. I haven't done much long-distance travelling, only in-state; but the boat trailed perfectly, so that shouldn't be a problem. |

...and we'd love to have you. Think about double stacking boats. April 25th & 26th -- Great Plains Wave Championships, a National Series Race for the IWCA, at Clinton Lake, Kansas 796 N 1190 RD Lawrence, KS 66047 (this will give a google map user the EXACT location) John Eaton 785-748-0100 The reason it's so early in the season is we get access to the entire swimming beach prior to it's opening to the public. 700 foot of nice sand with pancake flat access from the parking lot. Water will be 60 degrees so bring a wetsuit, or at least spray gear. |

Wessels is rounding up a whole crap load of waves up here for this event. I'm in, and I'm going to tow the boxcar down there, I think we can get at least 10, but probably closer to 15 waves in that thing. At least I won't have to put the FXone back together until may. |

I am going to be there!!! John, we will be able to leave the boats on the beach safely during the weekend or do they need to be moved? If there are any Waves available for charter I will try and get a brother or two of mine to come down with me to race. Can't wait!! Mark |

Mark The road to the beach Parking Lot is closed and locked every night. Bruce will be allowed to stay in his RV, in the lot overnight (Friday & Saturday) The beach doesn't open to the public until the following weekend, not much traffic anyway. Has worked very well in the past with no incidence. Still no charter boats. |

IL Hobie- Sorry, no charters from my end. I borrowed 4 boats from differnt people at my lake for the KC event and lent them out to guys from here. Ask your local dealer if they will charter you one or if they know someone who may.... |

I was i hope that everyone had forgotton about that. I tipped my 20 over in 6kt winds. Xander is NOT good crew. He's a great skipper, but not so good on the front. It was not bath water, I'll say that much. |
