I have a 2002 Wave I purchased last month. The previous owner never sailed with the jib. I have a basic idea on how the jib is attached based on looking at the parts he gave me. I assume the jib halyard block connects to the mast tang shackle. The halyard is tied off to the lower cleat once the jib is raised. The front of the jib is attached to bow spreader. The question I have is do you use one line to connect both jib swivel cleats and pass back to the jib clew? Is it tied off at this location? Does anyone know the diameter and length of the line for this as he gave me 3 different colors and lengths. The boat has been lots of fun so far! Went out last weekend in 20 mph plus winds. What a wild ride. Good times. Thanks |
