So speaking of wave talk... I have a question. How do I make the wave go fast, so I can beat Wessels at nationals?

I'm with you Tom...beating Wessels is VERY high on my priority list.

It's tough in the middle of winter to stay focused on that goal. I keep seeing a poster that was up in my kids room for years.... a lacrosse goal covered in snow with the caption "Championships start here".

Now if I could just set down the remote, close the box of chocolates and leave the couch, I could get to the gym!

I pretty much plan on having you guys so hungover and full of spicy cajun food that you'll be chuckin' off the side of your boats while I sail on by......

Appreciate any insight on how the Wave is used here. Apparent or actual Wave?

Well on Sunday, there will definitely be an actual Indy Wave all around Sun Life Stadium. And it should be very apparent! :D

Go Colts!!! :!:

Mimi,
We just started Ice Boating a few weekends ago, I think it will be a great way to keep my sailing skills sharp. By the way, if you ever get a chance to go DO IT, it is awesome. Last 2 weekends we had 15-20+ winds and that little ice boat gets going pretty fast, we figured arround 50mph.

You have clear Ice out there in Rapid? What lake? I'll have to tell the Clear lake Ice boaters (there are about 30 of them) as there is 2 feet of snow on the lake and we've not had one day of clear ice yet.

We've been sailing up at Bear Butte Lake, just north east of Sturgis, SD. Its not a big lake (1/2 mi long, less than 8ft deep), but there isn't much snow, and the ice is 2ft thick now!
