handicap number for wave. we have a small regatta at Poinesett, South Dakota and all boats sail with each other. I would like to know what the Wave's hanicap number would be. I know handicap gets effected with wind speed etc. but what would be an average handicap number. tried to post this earlier but didn't get a subject line on the new post. |

Thanks tom, for the data on handicap, took a little while to figure out how to use it until I found the rest of the formula on the second page. I noticed you are from Rapid so.... How about coming out to Poinsett on the 19th bring a few other sailors with you. Our friendly regatta could add a few bigger boats to the excitement. Paul Bommersbach has come to the regatta (Paul's father is part of the leadership) not sure if he will make it this year or not. Saturday June 19, race starts at 1:00. Mostly run with courtesy rules, and handicaps with the Hobies. |

I would love to, however we have a Division 5 points regatta at Alcova, WY that same weekend. Maybe next year. We should be at Yankton though. |
