| During the summer months, the sun is quite intense and we have thunder storms on a regular basis. So, I started to drop my mast, lay the 2 sections across the tramp and cover with a tarp. The objective was to avoid having lightning hit the mast and reduce sun damage to the comp tip and tramp. Now when I take off the cover, I find mildew spots on the tramp. What's the best way to remove these? Charlie | |

| I basically posted the same question on the "Open" forum. I had the mold/mildew spots on the brand new tramp of my 16. We have the brutal sun and very high humidity. I really want to keep the boat covered. I will be interested in seeing the post to this thread. | |

| After posting I did a search of the forum (should have done that first) here's what I found: http://www.hobiecat.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=17091&p=87238&hilit=mildew+tramp#p87238 http://www.hobiecat.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=8645&p=47048&hilit=mildew+tramp#p47048 Haven't tried any of these suggestions yet, probably tomorrow. | |
