Will a Jib Kit for the Wave give the boat more speed & performance? Is it worth the cost? |

The jib is small, but fun to use. It can help a bit on a reach, but was never intended as a big performance booster. This was part of a set of accessories that can help train people on their use... jib, trapeze and spinnaker. BTW... The spinnaker is a bigger performance boost! |

Unirigs will almost always point higher then a boat with a jib. The Wave is very easy to tack and I doubt if the jib would make that any easier. The jib might make the boat a little faster on a raech, however. |
