I had posted this under another post, but thought maybe start a new message was needed! I have been looking around the Conroe/Houston/Galveston area with NO luck! The closest so far have been states away and not much of a deal (or not a Hobie), but will have one even if it is off the rack "sweet". Which leads to my question? Is there a better season to buy from dealers, when would we see the 2011 models or older models at a better price, and used from individuals. Right now have an invoice from, KO (La Port) Sailing for a Club model, trailer, freight, jib/hardware, mainsail traveler for 7,000 and as they told me tax and registration would come later when I get plates. I guess I would take my receipt to DMV for that transaction. How does all this sound? |

When I was looking for a wave I found it was pretty hit or miss. At one point there were a total of 3 for sale in all of Texas and then just weeks later 2 of them were already gone. I used to think winter was the best time to look (boats idling in the garage or yard) but now I'm not so sure. On the topic, if you're interested I'm down in Clear Lake and have been debating selling my '06 Wave Club. Shoot me a pm |
