I'm buying a wave this weekend from a private party, and being as they used it on a private lake and it is under 14, it is not registered (according to seller)......the trailer, is, though. Is there any paperwork other than a Bill of Sale (which we can make up) with the hull number on that I will need to make certain this becomes mine? Is there a title of sorts, even if not registered with the state, that comes with these? The unit is 7 years old....2003 or so. |

If title is not created by the selling dealer... nothing goes with the boat as far as legal paperwork. You will need them to sign over the trailer to you though. |
