Can anyone offer advise on purchasing Hobies ( specifically the Wave) in Barbados. I am about to relocate there. In the UK I have the opportunity of purchasing a very nice Wave (cost around $3000 USD with trailer). I am considering buying this and shipping the boat to Barbados, but am not sure if it’s economic so to do. Please advise, would I be able to purchase such a boat locally once I arrive there? Are they freely available second hand? I understand it’s necessary to get an import licence (from Ministry Commerce??) for any boat before shipping. Thanks Mark |
