| Do people glue or rivit the two halves together or leave them stock? I saw a boat for sale that had the two halves glued together - is that common and why? | |

| Some very important people in the class (me) leave them unglued and unriveted so that they can be separated to go under the boat for trailering. I take the halyard out too. I figure if it's in the trunk of the car it won't somehow get loose and drag on the ground. They're expensive. | |

| My question would be why would you want to glue. Them if you ever travel with the boat lot easier with two ten ft than one 20ft | |
