Does anyone know if the new Twist-N-Seal hatches will work with the Wave? I've seen previous posts where the 5" inspection hatches can be installed behind the aft crossbar, but was wondering if anyone has tried these hatches yet? On another topic, I broke the halyard cleat on my mast. I was not aware that the cleat was platic. I had thought it was platic coated aluminum but found out otherwise. Anyway, this is the one that is rivited and not screwed in. Has anyone replaced one of these? Is it as simple as drilling out the old rivits and re-reviting the cleat on? Thanks for the help. |

The hatches will work. The cleat is a simple replacement as you described. There should be little load on the cleat, so did it get impacted by something? |

The cleat may have been hit or something, I'm not sure. I'll just get another one and replace it. Thanks for the info on the hatches. |
