Is the hooter sail similar to that of a spinnaker in that it's only for downwind? |

Or light upwind conditions. It's usually cut pretty flat for speed downwind and ease of furling, so it kinda acts a bit like a gennaker with some crappy sheeting angles upwind in the light stuff. |

The Hooter adds power to your wave at all points of sail except when hard into the wind. 12 mph winds seem to be the max for controlled sailing. ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us |

Hi, I'm thinking about genaker or hooter in next season. I'm living in Poland, Europe so i must buy sail here. Could you help me withhooter dimensions? Do you have any files, documents, etc for sailmaker? I would be very thankful for any help! |
