Post subject:  Looking to buy a used Hobie Wave in Long Island, NY
I'm interested in buying a used Hobie Wave in good condition that's located somewhere near Southampton, NY (or possibly near the New Jersey Shore).

Does anyone know of one that I might consider? (I would also be interested in buying a trailer for the boat.) What price would you consider fair?

West Marine sells a dinghy trailer that can be easily modified for a Wave.

If you can find someone that's got a Port Supply wholesale number you can cut the price by about $300.

The Trailex, model SUT-450C, all aluminum trailer is lightweight and great around salt water.

Lighter than galvanized trailers and way less maintenance than steel trailers.

Just make sure you get the Club Wave & not a Classic Wave version.
