I keep mine covered with a cheap tarp, lasted 8 years so far. But I'm on an inland lake, beached under tall trees. |

OK, ready to swap them out... any hints or tips on removing the old blue seat pads? |

I don't know if this is a hint or a tip, but I used a wide spatula, like you use for patching holes in your wall. About four inches wide I'd say. I started at one end and just worked it underneath and worked it side to side while I pushed. Didn't take long to peel up the whole thing. Or at least back past the port. That was the point in my case. To take out the ports and recaulk with silicone. My boat doesn't leak now. Good luck! |

I solved with a silicone spray. The seat pads are just perfect. |

Scrub the pads with a stiff brush and the blue butt situation will end. You will be surprised at how much pad will scrub off before it is solid again. |

Anyone experienced using specific adhesive? I reglued my seat pads with Pascofix (http://www.pascofix.com/). It is the second season since then and it stil works. |
