| Sounds like you sailed before so I'll just mention that when I started with cats I had to learn to tack all over again. It's a bit embarrassing at first because you can't slam the tiller over like in a monohull or the dual hulls will dig in like brakes and bring you to a stop. There are lots of posts to search for more detailed explanations but basically, you need to ease into a tack to retain your speed so you don't come to a halt. That was my only gotcha. Everything else will come naturally. Plus, what Creative said. Have fun!!!!!! | |
