I have installed new Hobie bridal, fore, and side wires. It looks like it is leaning way back.

mine leans back pretty far too. I am no sure what perfect is, but the way I understand it is that in light winds it is better to have the mast slightly more vertical and in heavy wind rake the mast back.

It seem that many guys have the mast raked back far enough that the main sheet blocks can touch each other when fully sheeted. My blocks might be between 3 and 5 inches apart when sheeted in tight. I set the rake once and have not changed it.

Hoist your sail and attach the main sheet and pull it tight and see what happens.

Thanks. Guess I'll take it out a second time and note how close it is to the main sheet block.
