Post subject:  Anchor for Hobie Wave. Lakes and Oceans

Hi, I am thinking about getting an anchor for my Hobie Wave to use in lakes and the ocean. I found this
http://www.amazon.com/Hobie-Anchor-Kit- ... ZM98HZ0VJQ

But have lots of questions before I buy
1. How reliable this thing is? Can I go snorkeling/swimming while my boat is held just by that thing?
2. Do I need extra parts? and how mandatory they are?
3. Where would I attach the other end of the rope?
4. Does anyone has a manual or video instructions on using this anchor with hobie wave?

I am trying to get the best result with the least resources used, so if there is a cheaper but better anchor, or if some additional parts desired but not really needed, please let me know.
Thank you in advance
Alex

I was also looking at anchor options. I don't know anything about them, but that one looked too small for me to trust. I think it's more for a fishing kayaker or something.

My main reason to anchor is a launch ramp into the bay with no place to beach or tie up, and I want to use it solo, so I need something to hold the boat while parking the trailer.

I'm hoping someone experienced weighs in.
