How is the Wave mast cradle (part# 38650041) attached to the crossbars? Does it snap on and off easily when not in use? Does the bungee cord that holds the mast sections to the cradle also hold the cradle to the crossbar? ![]() |

I've used it for a Hobie 16 and now my Wave. I place it on the rear crossbar, slightly left of center. Place the mast in the crutch (up front) and on the cradle (at rear). Stretch the bungee and wrap it around the rear crossbar and mast in an 'X' crisscross pattern. Last step - hook the bungee loop over one of the mast cradle pins. I've trailed the Wave that way hundreds of miles without a problem. fair winds. bill ps: I also have a traveller track on the rear crossbar |

Thanks for the reply, it is a big help. And also mentioning you have a traveller is a HUGE help because I forgot to ask that. Thanks. |
