Interested in a Hobie Wave. I have a utility trailer (~ 4' 6" wide, 10' long) and I'm not really interested in buying / registering another trailer for a catamaran. Are the Wave's hulls easily separated /rejoined to the trampoline for more compact transport to fit on my current trailer (i.e. without deconstructing the tramp lacing)? Thanks. |

Do you have the Velcro on you back bar? If so this is the resort with the cupbholders . I have it and it simple to get back together. It can take me 30 to 45 or so min to put it all toghert but I do I once a year. I find it hard to get the bars in the hulls and line up correctly. Sent from my SM-G950W using Tapatalk |

I remember seeing some pics of someone who had built extended wooden cross rails that supported a Wave on a utility trailer. Google for images like "hobie wave on utility trailer" and you might get some ideas. If you have the Club Wave, I'd guess that installing/uninstalling trailer supports would be easier then breaking the boat down all the time. Edit: found a pic |
