Post subject: | hobie spinnaker kit |
I am wondering if the spinnaker kit hobie sells for the Wave is something I can install myself or will I need to take it to the dealer? Also, what is included in it? I know that it has to include a pole, but can it use the same hardware on the mast and the same blocks as the useless jib does? Or would I have to install new blocks somewhere? thanks |

this spin kit is a very easy add on. I don't think there is anything else added to the mast, the spin sheet blocks are shackled on to the rear tramp lacing, there is a swivel cam cleat added on the front cross bar, and a hinge riveted to the front cross bar directly under the mast for the spin pole to attach to. |

I imagine the kit will tell me what to rivet where and what size rivets to use? |
