I have a 96 wave that needs the shroud anchors replaced. I was able to pull the seat pads up in one piece and was a little surprised to see the access hole covers just sitting in place without any fasteners. What do people use to glue the access hole covers and pads back down when I’m finished replacing my anchors? Thanks for any help! |

The access was originally glued in with hot melt glue. That bond failed. I would use 3M5200 or similar adhesive. We now use flay head counter sunk screws to assist the hot melt used in production. We can't use 5200 due to the cure time. Used contact cement for gluing the pads back down. Paint the pad and the hull area with thin coats. Let tack dry and then apply the pad to the seat area. |
