Hi everyone - first post I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I got a very nice deal on a 2000 Hobie Wave Club, lift and yard cover from a lake neighbor of mine (for 1/4 a new one). Sailed for about 5 seasons total The sail itself is in beautiful condition, the hulls are awesome (never dragged on the rocks/shore), but it needs a little TLC (cleaning, penetrol on the crossbars) to too get back to snuff. The tramp has to be replaced (sun burnt but otherwise structurally good), and I plan to replace all the rope rigging after all these years. But the main question I have, is the Upper Batten, I thought it was broken, but then I pulled what someone used as a wood dowel (with electrical tape, LOL) out out the batten pocket. Anyway is there somewhere I can buy just the upper batten (it appears to be about 36" in length) without buying a while batten kit? Also any good tips on where to source a trampoline (want OEM), and a kit for all of the rope rigging, would be appreciated. Thanks for any help! Dave ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Should add if anyone has recommendations on where to get a tramp (pretty sure I want OEM-aqua blue at this point), and a good set of lines similar to these that are out of stock, let me know. https://strictlysailinc.com/products/ho ... e-line-kit On lines it looks liker only the main hailyard is anything special unless I'm missing something. Don't really need the batten lines, but would like too not buy more than I need, and would like quality line. |

Ebay has some stuff. Tramp: https://www.ebay.com/itm/383948968479?hash=item596524521f:g:MHAAAOSwJeBgJBLR It looks like Murray's has a batten kit: https://www.murrays.com/product/50-38016001/ They seem to recommend a regular H16 main batten. I can't tell what your measurement is, but here is an ebay seller that I have bought battens from before: https://www.ebay.com/itm/284486715353?hash=item423cbac7d9:g:Ns8AAOSw0OxZunq1 |

Any Hobie dealer can get you the parts you need. Use the dealer locator function on the main page of the Hobie website. Murrays.com is also a good source for mail order/online. They are very knowledgeable and can get OEM parts. Also, just a note on the first picture of your post - be sure that you are hoisting the sail all the way to the top of the mast. The sail is clearly not all the way up in that picture. sm |

That's the previous owner in the photo - I see what you are saying about the sail not being raised. |
