a fairly small regatta 14-18 boats all classes. very informal put on by the lake poinsett sail academy. A bunch of people that like to sail . We have a 24 foot mcGregory to Hobie Wave. last years race had 4 H16 6 hobie waves, 1 mcgregor 3 hobie Getaways and a of couple lasers With Handicapps the winner was a H-16 with a Hobie Wave coming in 2nd 15 sec or so behind the 16 with handicaps. Oh that was me in second. We might have a hobie 20 this year trying to break the speed recorded. Eastern side of the state of South Dakota. activities start Friday night and the race is on Saturday approx 11:00 though we have never started on time because we wait for late comers to set up. if interested give me a call and I will give you more details.
