Post subject: | Club vs Classic Tramp |
The tramp on my June 2012 wave classic has ripped out where the tightening patch/pulley was welded to the rest of the tramp. Time for a new one... one of the can holders has also ripped. Can I put the club tramp on my boat easily? It lives permanently on the lake so I do not ever need to disassemble her. The club tramp is (please correct me if I am wrong) 1) a little cheaper 2) able to be tightened up better, less sag The classic tramp is: 2) easier to set-up and break down. Comments please! |

If your boat has tramp tracks on the hulls you can use a Club Trampoline. If not... not really possible. |

Closing out my post…. My 2012 Wave now has had its classic tramp replaced with a club tramp. It had the tramp rails on the hulls so it was easy to do. Looks great, almost brand new. A big thank you to Matt Miller at Hobie for guidance as well as a tip of the hat to the good folks at West Coast Sailing in Portland Oregon for the support. Very pleased and looking forward to another fun sail this afternoon. |
