Hello Everyone! I was wondering if anyone who is handy, and it seems many of you are, have a DIY tiller joint tendon solution. It seems like it is just a piece of tubing filled with something. If anyone has ideas please let me know. Thank you. |

The tendon is two diameters of fiber reinforced tubing. One inside the other. |

Do you have instructions on how to make it? Tube sizes and a compound so I can secure the screws? Apologies if it is a stupid request! |

Reviving this topic. We just did this repair. We used black 7/8" OD x 5/8" ID hose, with a red 5/8" OD x 3/8" ID hose inserted for stiffness. I'm not sure how to share pictures, but here is a Google Doc link. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1x5OEKJY4k9WFXeOH741uOhvwbIcHWKlrDLmu3fZTUlk/edit?usp=sharing |
