when racing a hobie wave upwind, will you go faster by sitting further forward on the hull? |

Depends on wind speed. In strong breeze sitting as far aft as possible and hiking hard seems to work well. In lighter winds moving a bit forward is good, but not well forward. You want to keep the rudders and keels deep in the water for best tracking. |

Windy conditions: Sitting/hiking from an aft position is good for keeping the skegs as deep as possible. Don't pinch!! Light air: Don't sit any further forward than the shroud, both upwind and downwind. These positions work for me!! ![]() |

Still getting used to a boom less sail How tight are you trimming? I guess I should try some batten end tell tales but i looks like too much twist at the top and to much hook in the bottom |
