| I've had a tarp over my Wave this winter but when I removed it I noticed a lot of mildew/mold on the tramp . What can I safely use to remove the mold/mildew? Would bleach ruin the Tramp? It is a new Hobie tramp not secondary market tramp. Thanks, Joe | |

| Bleach will even eat stainless steel given enough time. Try Lysol All Purpose or Clorox Clean-Up with a stiff brush. Both work good. We use the Lysol here at the shop. Just don't leave them on the tramp for hours and hours. Brian C | |

| I think you could start with a soft scrub with bleach without problem. We commonly use scrubbing powder (ajax) with bleach. | |

| I know this thread is a bit old but thought I'd throw another idea out there: pressure washer. I've used a 2460psi washer with the nozzle set to fan the water out over a broad area so as to greatly reduce the force of the water. There's plenty of force to blast off the mildew/grime/cobwebs/algae but not nearly enough to damage anything. It was gentle enough that I could blast my own foot with no pain. It took about 2 minutes and the tramp looked showroom new when I was done. | |
