| So my Wave's seatpads are finally giving me blue-butt. Any idea on where to get inexpensive replacements or better yet, material I could use to make new ones? TIA | |

| The pads are just an EVA foam. It's also used as foot pads on windsurfers and kite boards, and I've seen it used on ski boat platforms. There are quite a few places out there that sell it by the square foot. We get it from a place called NSI. http://www.northshoreinc.com/ There are some patterns that might look cool on the Wave. | on ebay i've found some self adhesive kayak seat pads. Item number: 360039766868. what do you think? they look comfortable. one for each side as a test then get a second pair if it works well. i'm also considering mounting the adjustable hobie kayak seats. i could use the back support. | |

| I use the 3M 20272 "Scotch Grip" contact cement for deck pads on my windsurfers. The part number for the Wave deck pads is 38010061. That's a Light Blue Pad. They're $24.95 each. The early Purple pad is no longer available. Brian C | |
