Post subject: | QUESTIONS ON HOBIE ELECTRICS |
Hi Matt, l seen a video where a Hobie revo was used by torqeez to demo their stern mounted elec. motors and also where they had one mounted at the mirage well on a P.A. at a show. My questions are: ls Hobie working WITH torqeez to develope a better electric option or is Hobie just trying to adjust their yaks to the torqeez elecs? Also can you give any info on how their electrics will drive the pedals on a P.A. l am very interested in a PA but my 66 year old legs are more interested in the elec options as l plan to fish a lot of salt water. Finally what new ideas has Hobie got in store for future Hobie electrics. Thanks so much for your time, can't wait to hear from you. Jim |

We have not yet offically announced our electric motor kit, but we are working with Torqeedo. Expect details some time in September. It will be a prop drive... not powering the existing pedals. |

Matt, am a PA owner, and would like to know more about the anchor trolley system. Are there any other options for getting the anchor off the stern or bow? |

The trolley is the best option I have heard of for placing the anchor fore or aft of the seat area. Works great. |
