I Just got home from the coast. I ran down to pick up my new rig.

Hobie double kayak trailer with 2 sets of cradles the bar system for the Thule sport box, 2 Yellow Pro Angler Kayaks.

The trailer was expensive. However, it towed like a champ. I was very, very pleased.

Here are some questions:

Which side of the yak should I mount the anchor trolley? I am thinking right side as I find myself bringing most fish up to the boat on the left side.

What would you suggest I use for straps to strap down the Yaks? Right now I am using line.

Which Thule box works best on the top rack?

I mounted my anchor trolly on the right side on my PA, and my wife is going to wait to mount her's to see which side she actually wants it on. We just ordered a trailer for them and also got saddles for each that have straps. Good luck with your PA's and enjoy.

Super nice.

I have anchor trolleys on both sides, made with reflective deck cord. It slightly increases chance of being seen at dusk/night/ in fog, and you never know when you may want to use the other side due to wind/current/fish on. Then you can angle 360 degrees instead of just 180 degrees.

Rock Creek Outfitters has yellow reflective deck cord (most places just have the black, but the yellow is super sharp looking on a yellow/Papaya boat) I used both black and yellow on my yellow/Papaya Outback for various things.

Thanks. Wife and I are discussing a week long trip down to the Keys in late January as we speak.
Yes, I like the yellow cord. although I already bought the anchor trolley's. I may just swap out the black for the yellow.

Any suggestions on tie downs? How about a source for nylon webbing and strong plastic buckles?
