Post subject: | Infamous debate Oasis Vs Outfitter and rigging them |
I have been looking for these models for some time now and I have tried both as well. Since my mrs likes to be out on the sea, I get to go out frequently but there are some instances I'd go alone. Time to time I liked one over the other. So I won't go too much and ask which one is better. Because I have concluded based on two person fishing that they both lack of storage on board not that I need a lot. (Outfitter has few more little flat surface to put things on though) As far as speed and upwinds, I'd go with Oasis but Outfitter provides better stability. Although Oasis is stable as well. So my question is 1. Can you lean (or legs hung out) on one side and not get tipped over on Oasis? 2. Will Hobie release another improved version of either models for 2010/2011? Or a new model of some sort? 3. Do you not use drift anchor/drogue with running anchor line along the kayak like other Nobie? |
