Hi gang! Picked up our twin Revo's last Wednesday after work ... my wife immediately wanted to take them for a spin. We had demo'd a Revo and an Outback the weekend before, and decided Revo was the way to go - turbo fins. An hour before sunset Took them out the following weekend (last weekend) ... Beached Though I didn't get a picture, I did hook the biggest snook of my life while we were beached here. Very promising way to mark the first fishing outing in the new boat. Too many rods I do need a solution for a rod holder up front. This is a worst case scenario picture. I plan to get the rod extenders, get a rod holder up front and ditch the milk crate idea. Camera mount This is a slick trick for making videos ... VICTORY If a picture is worth a thousand words, here's your proof.

Twin Revo's... NICE! Does your wife use her's for fishing too, or is it just a pleasure boat? I don't fish and my wife an I enjoy exploring all kinds of places on her Revo, and my Adventure (island) I hope you enjoy them!

pag_yaker, Fantastic pictures and I know you will enjoy any time you can spend out in your revolutions. Now next move is TWIN SAILS. We love our two revolutions and I fish regularly from mine. You can get loads of ideas for rod holders and accessories from people here on the forum. I have learned much from the tips and tricks people share here. Nothing wrong with a milk crate .. even some of the most famous kayak fisherman have milk crates. Of course you can dress them up a bit or buy a nice tote/rod holder or crate wrap. Several models available. I use the Crate Mate Jr. which sadly is no longer in production but maybe someone will pick it up again cause it is a nice unit. Twin Revo's here too! Picked up to bright yellow ones 2 weeks ago. My wife and I have had them on local lakes a few times and my son and I have used them fishing twice too. Awesome fishing and cruising machines. Next step is a couple of anchor trolleys to assist in the fishing style we like in the spring for trout. For now, trolling is just perfect with hands free. No pictures yet but we have enjoyed using a flip video camera in a waterproof case to catch the action. We have 50 lakes within 75 miles of home and our camping trips nearly always involve kayak-ready water. I modified a small utility trailer to carry the yaks when we aren't pulling the travel trailer and they now have taken up residence in the garage on the trailer so they are ready to go at a moments notice. Two Yakima hull raisers on the Tundra will be the mode used when the travel trailer is following us on our adventures. First post, but I have been lurking for months just learning from the experts as I go.

My wife fishes too, but not as much as I do. My issue now is a forward mounted rod holder. I want something slick, and out of the way. Ideally, it will go in the sail mount and will allow the rod to angle back. So, when I need to get to it, I just lean forward and grab it. My camera mount was gift from a buddy in the UK. No idea where he got it, I've had it for at least 6 years never knowing how I would use it. Now, I know ... Despite nasty wind and rain, I did manage to land a small jack this past Saturday ... The rain cleared up and the end of the day was glorious! Life's good today ...

The rubber band came off of a bunch of asparagus ...
