nice fishing, sounds like a blast! I am picking up my Outback in a week and cant wait to do the same, a lot of crappie and wallie fishing. Sure hope I get into some crappie like you did, good job.

Just got back from Grenada Lake in Mississippi. We have been going to North Mississippi for the last 15 years crappie fishing. Had a great time and caught 43 crappie, half over 2 pounds. 3 were 2.6 pounds. I took a razzing before the trip about taking the kayak instead of the motorboat. Not so much afterwards sinse I caught the most fish of all 8 fishing. I may not happen again but this year was the year of the kayak. The Outback performed flawlessly. The only problem was I didn't have a large enough livewell Friday. I had 17 at 2pm and had to leave because the fish were dieing. I didn't want the fish to spoil. I took a bigger one back Saturday and caught 19. |

Great report. I have been trying to get up there for a couple of years and just haven't made it happen. Its a long drive from Dallas and we have plenty of great lakes here but the grass is always greener,,, well, you know. |
