Post subject:  Bought the Revo !

I bought the Revo yesterday. Thanks to the great advice on this forum and a great dealer (Naples Kayak) I'm convinced I made the right choice. I was dead set on the Outback until I realized all my reserach was all on the computer not on the water. As soon as the dealer found out I was only going to fish about 50% of the time he insisted I demo the Revo. The Outback was a great boat but the Revo will be better for me. I'm sure You'll be hearing from me when get a chance to start messing around with this new toy.

I don't fish at all, so I can't talk about how good one is for fishing over the other boat, but I think you'll really enjoy the Revo. It's been a tremendously versatile boat for us, from great lakes with big waves, to small streams, it's always been great.

I think you will like it, i prefer the outback only because i hate getting wet and i like to stand and pole with it, but if i didn't, the revo would be my choice.

Thanks guys, On my first outing I immediately realized the best feature of the mirage drives ! You can drink a beer while kayaking. Tough to do with a paddle. So when the fish ain't biting.............

I have been a Revo owner for many years and love them. I have 2 and the only thing I do is fish from them. They are terrific both in the waters here in the northeast as well as the Gulf of Mexico where I also spend time.

On a recent trip to the 10,000 Islands in the Everglades I had my first peddal issue and it wasn't a big one and I was able to fix it on the spot.

Good luck with your boat and Tight Lines
