I dont mind buying the hobie anchor trolley kit, I just dont want to drill holes in my kayak.

Is there a way to install an anchor trolley on a Hobie Outback without drilling any holes?

Thanks,

Twin

Not without having the rope in your lap.I just installed one this past week,Hobie did their homework and made it easy.Seal the couple litttle holes and you're ok..........................

I was nervous about drilling holes when I first starting fishing out of a kayak, but after a while, you get used to it. I just drilled the four holes for the two pad-eyes and bolted it in. It is fine. I made sure the holes were above the water-line.

It's not yours till you drill some holes in it.

Before you drill any holes, make sure you are not going to hit one of the cables inside the hull!
