Post subject:  most practical cart for the Fla. Keys Heavy Duty or Trax?

I'll be going to the lower Keys in mid Feb. with my Oasis. The Explorer is going to be jam packed so space will be at a premium. I have The heavy duty cart and the Trax with the inflatable tires.

In general, does anyone have an opinion which cart would be the best to take along? The terain and diversity (sandy or firm surfaces) vary quite a bit in NJ so having both available is a good option.

Of the two which would you take if you only had room for one to transport? Thanks. Staying in Cudjoe but will be launching from other of the lower Keys.

Not sue if the terain is consistent throughout the lower Keys.

Hard tires don't work on soft sand. Ballon tires work on soft and hard surfaces.

65Strad:
There are no big soft sand beaches anywhere in the keys (mostly rocks), so your pretty safe with the HD cart. We have a TI and use the HD cart without problems down there.
Hope this helps
Bob
