Post subject:  Ram Transducer Arm

I'm looking to get a Ram Transducer Arm for the larger Lowrance Structure Scan transducer. On Ram's website, they have an arm specifically designed for a LSS transducer (RAM-B-316-18-TRA3-NB). I think this is a brand new variation because the two retailers I've used don't carry it. All the posts and pics I've seen relate to the regular model (RAM-B-316-18-TRA1-NB) where you just screw in the transducer. My main concern is if the orignal model has enough strength to hold the LSS transducer. Anybody have any experience with this? The only reason I ask is because I can find the original model cheaper. Although I feel stupid stressing over $15 after all the money I've already spent on everything else. Oh well. Thanks in advance for your help.
