What is New in 2014 for Revo 13 compaired to 2012 and also any changes on pro angler 12 this year ? Looking at both any help would be welcomed. Choosing the right 1 is the hard part. |

I have heared Hobie came up with a bigger rudder to help the stearing tracking problem on the Pro Angler 12 and 14. Will this be on the 2014 model ? |

@bobsdream, Per Matt Miller at Hobie(paraphrased): It will fit any PA 12 or 14, but is over-sized and due to that... is not a "Direct" replacement in that is exceeds some of the design conditions for the Pa 12 and 14. It extends aft of the handle. It extends aft on the loading skids, so will require careful handling or slight modification for loading using the skids. 2014 Revo13 has the transducer mount now. That's a big deal for the Revo line. |

As there was no inherent problem with the Pro Angler steering, the larger rudder is just an accessory. Sort of like the sailing rudder offered for the other Mirage Drive kayak models. |
