Ok...so I have been waiting for the weather to be just right and this past weekend looked promising. The Weather Man was calling for 5 mph winds out of the South/Southwest early morning turning calm later in the afternoon... Well, the wind was out of the North first thing in the morning, blowing 7 to 10 mph and I thought for sure it was going to get uglier as the sky was getting darker. Luckily it cleared up an hour later and the winds shifted from North to East. The Lagoon was busy...with boaters everywhere. I covered a lot of ground before running into some Trout that were holding their ground in some extremely shallow water. After playing around with the Trout for a couple of hours I decided to run out to the flats in search of Redfish. The bite was a little slow but I still managed to find some fish that were willing to come out and play... they kept me well entertained for the day so I decided to give them their freedom back once again.

- By the way....water clarity was excellent overall...!

Can't wait to get back out there...

Great Video. I can't get over the water clarity in Florida. Here in SE Louisiana, we have to deal with centuries of the Mississippi River dumping the countries silt into our waterways, and the slightest wave and wind conditions causes the water clarity to look like chocolate milk.

The only way we can sight fish for reds is when they're in the shallows and their back fin is sticking out of the water.

Keep up the videos. Really enjoyed it.
