I sacrificed a gear bucket and cut out the dividers to I could lay the battery on its side and store it in the rear 8" hatch. I have a Revo11, so the same would work for you. EDIT: AND Welcome Aboard! ![]() |

The Hobie Battery Holder! Mounts in a 8" hatch or to the accessory mount inside the forward hatch. http://www.hobiecat.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=47167&p=206680&hilit=battery+holder#p206680 ![]() ![]() |

I just roll it up in a drybag. Not watertight but no problems yet. |

Our battery is water proofed. The connectors are potted in epoxy, so no dry bag required. |

For a lot of suggestions for ways to make battery boxes, see http://www.northwestkayakanglers.com/in ... pic=7606.0 , which is a long thread on the Northwest Kayak Angler's forum. For example, here are pictures of a battery box I built using a Walmart waterproof box. ![]() ![]() |

For my FF/GPS (12v7ah), I use a Ozark Trail waterproof box w/in-line fuse. I use the Hobie Battery Holder, in the rear hatch (PA12), for my Power-Pole Micro Anchor (12v9ah). ![]() ![]() |
