I recently installed the Hobie power pole mount item no. 72020176 on my PA 12. In the directions the forth step 4,states to reuse the screws removed from the rudder cover. The screws are 1/4 inch too short. I recommend that 2,10-32 x 3/4 screws be used instead. Make sure to get stainless steel. They are available at your local hardware store. This will prevent the threads from being strippen when tightened. I will be posting a full Micro pole install directions with pictures soon. Thanks, Steve McNerney Hobie Fishing team member. |

I also found that the bolts for the rear handle clamps are to short. Like said above, just go to the hardware store and buy SS bolts in the next size longer. Other than that, the install was eazy peazy ![]() |

The screws that were included with mine worked perfect, front & back. |

Mine worked fine on the rudder cover, however the bolts for the clamps are a bit short. I was able to secure them however I will probably replace with longer ones just to be safe. |
