Last two times I went out, there was so much bait around the pier at the beach I launch from. Got me wondering how difficult it would be to throw a cast net from the Outback or Revo? Does anyone here do it and what tips do you have? |

I think you could easily do a 3' since you fold it in half anyway...maybe even do the 4'. I haven't tried in the yak yet, but I do throw regularly up to 6'...which is nothing compared to many who throw up to 15'+ |

I throw a 3 ftr from my Revo and OB, throw a 6 from my PA... not just the throwing / balance issue, but anything over three in an OB and especially a revo is a LOT of net to store when not in use.. yep, I know you can wrap it up and make it pretty small, but I like to have mine within easy reach and ready to go in case I run up on a school of bait... |

The bait has been pretty thick right under the pier most days but last weekend they were in whiskey creek down by the bridge. Heard there was a huge school of mullet in about 80' on Sunday. |
