I have a 2015 Outback. I was looking over the seat area - specifically the hull directly under the seat - there are a couple of molded-in brass inserts - I guess it would be directly under the high-position "pedestals". What are they for? They look like they are threaded. |

Have you by chance looked at your "owners manual" to see if it's identified? It could be the spot(s) where the seat back is anchored/secured to the hull. |

I just thought of another possibility for the "inserts" would be to strengthen or reinforce the spots where the aft seat frame/legs contact the hull and prevent wearing the hull material. |

That is the attachment point for a brass part used to gather more plastic / strength for the adjustment steps. |

Hi guys, just wondering if anybody knows if you can buy these seats separately and if they fit on a hobie adventure. |

Will not fit older Hobie kayaks due to a complete re-design of the hull / seat area to accept them. Would be like trying to put a big square peg in a small round hole. |
