what do you do with the fish finder wires if you're not using your fish finder on a trip out on the water |

Is there a reason why you don't just leave it plugged in and turned off? Otherwise, you could put the wires/connectors inside a heavy duty Ziploc bag, use a twist tie to close the bag and orientate it so the "open end" is facing down. |

I was just thinking if I go to a shallow flats area it would be better not to have all that extra weight and gear |

I rubberband a balloon around it. I usually keep my fishfinder in a dry bag until I'm safely launched, but then I'm a belt and suspenders guy. |
