Hi all. I'm the proud new owner of a outback and want to install an anchor trolley on it. I've seen a bunch of them, and was wondering why the Hobie instructions state to put the cheek blocks 12 inches from the bow and stern? I would really like it to be close to the bow and stern so the waves come as straight as possible. Especially since I'm not always in the calmest waters and I get sea sick (love that Dramamine). |

I think that is about as close as we could place the inserts to the bow or reach inside for the backing nuts and washers on older models. |

thanks for the reply. i'll probably put them close to the bow and stern since it's easy to reach on the outback. |
