I bought a 2015 Outback that is Lorance ready. I also got the Elite 3X and what appears to be an outdated (Hobie fish finder installation kit II). There is no adapter to mount my transponder to the transponder plate at the bottom of my outback. I can mount everything else but the transponder. Help oh wise ones. G. |

You should return Kit II to your Hobie dealer and exchange it for Kit III.......Kit II is meant for the "shoot through the hull" from the inside the kayak. In addition, your fish finder should have a bag of hardware for mounting the transducer.....those parts will allow you to mount the transducer to the Lowrance Ready cover on the bottom of your Outback. Page 20 of your owners manual has the diagram for mounting the transducer to the plate. I assume you got the bag of "thru hole wiring parts" with your new Outback?? |
