You need to cut off the plastic alignment pins. It's quite obvious once you have the new drive in your hands

I have an 08 Outback. Will the new GT drive fit? It looks different than the older drives, so im guessing no, but want to confirm. |

They do fit in older kayaks, all you need to do it remove the alignment pin from the spine, but beyond that small modification it will fit. |
